The City of Boca Raton
The City of Boca Raton
First settled in 1895, Boca Raton soon became a small agricultural community, continuing to produce winter vegetable crops through the
1940s.

During the land boom of the 1920s, architect Addison Mizner initiated the tourism industry when he began work on the exclusive
hotel that is today’s Boca Raton Resort & Club.

Boca Raton still proudly reflects Mizner’s Spanish-Moorish building style. Incorporated as a municipality in 1925, Boca Raton’s original Town Hall is an historic focal point for the city.

Anglins Beach Cafe
Anglins Beach Cafe
Situated at the threshold of the historic Anglin’s Fishing Pier, Anglins Beach Cafe gives way to a sun-drenched, 975-foot-long boardwalk that bustles with anglers and sightseers from dawn to dusk. Outdoor diners are afforded panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, and the restaurant’s interior proves no less idyllic: shaded booths abut the pier rails, and in the dining room, green tiles echo the hues of sea foam crashing against the shore. Considering that Anglins Beach Cafe is entrenched in the natural environment, it makes sense that its proprietors should take strides to preserve it.
Sea Bands
Sea Bands
Sea-Band is a knitted elasticated wrist band, which operates by applying pressure on the Nei Kuan acupressure point on each wrist by means of a plastic stud. Because the bands do not use drugs, they do not cause any of the side effects associated with anti-nausea drugs and can be worn on each wrist whenever you feel nauseous. They are suitable for adults and children.
